Gameworld's Rules
- Role-playing is enforced. If you want to talk out of character (OOC) while in-game, use NWN private messaging system. - Races Restrictions: Humans, half-orcs and dwarves are the only playable race at the moment. They are all one community. In the future, a second community of elves, gnomes and halflings might be afforded when there are enough players to support it. Currently, though, they are not playable. Class Restrictions:
Humans: Sorcerer class is disabled.
Half-Orcs: Cleric class is disabled. Wizard class is disabled. Sorcerer class is disabled.
Dwarves: Sorcerer class is disabled.
In addition, to all races the Paladin class is restricted, it can only be achieved by dedicated players during gameplay.
- Realistic Skins: Unless you're creating half-orc, who are allowed a shade of green, make sure you pick one of the brown variations.
- Realistic Names
Basically, make sure they're pronouncable, and it passes as "realistic". No famous character/celebrity names.
- No griefing/harrassment of other players of any sort.
- No metagaming. Metgaming refers to using knowledge that you possess but you character don't possess, such as the fact you can know another character's name just by reading their floating name tags.
- No PvP without staff's permission. For a player to kill another player there will have to be DM intervention and a valid reason.
- Powergaming, which is playing solely for the purpose of harvesting XP from creatures, won't get you anywhere in this gameworld and is prohibited. This is a community-based hardcore RP server designed appropriately, while there is room for adventures we ask that you act with discretion.
- Language: We ask that you don't use modern slang words such as "dude" and "wassup"...they tend to disillusion players from RP. If you're not sure whether you can use a certain word, ask us, or just use discretion.
-Your character must be created according to the mythology, and played out with how the mythology is defined
- Repeatedly creating the same brand of characters whose intents are to sow discord is a bannable offense (you'll be warned first)
- You can't play anymore than one character at a time, or you'll automatically get sent to delete one.
- No cybering or expcilit sexual talks of any sort. Also, avoid using explicit modern curses like the S-word or the F-word. If you're not sure what you can use or what you can't, try to be creative in your expletives.
*Recommendation: This community-based realistic social design creates an ambience where adventuring is less of a focus point, this is due to the fact that adventuring and frequent encounters with foes can lead to early death, so a player, despite what character he/she plays, should keep that in mind, and adapt a gamestyle that would create more longevity. Though patroling and encountering creatures every now and then is inevitable, we only ask that you use discretion.
