Ghoul Mountains:
The Ghoul Mountains are an unmistakable edifice of the Midlands. The tallest mountains known, they soar high above the plains, so high that much of it is shrouded in clouds, and disappear far above the land. It's also the largest stretch of mountains in The Midlands, running 100 miles from north to south. Goblins and Snow-Orcs are known to inhabit these mountains. Ghoul Mountains is also the home of many dwarves, as well as the largest one of "Khaz'O'Rune". Not many journey up to Ghoul Mountains due to the dangers that await there, though on occasion it's a necessity to cross them for a shorter journey, those who do it are often armed and prepared.
Many ruins are found in the mountains, evidence of past life, but little is known about that life. The Da'Goth tribe, the largest barbarian clan, used to wander the mountains until they settled in the western edge of it, erecting the mountain city of Fellheim.
Mountain goats, bighorn sheeps, pikas, great horned owls and the majestic-looking bluebirds are the icons that many humans use to depict the mountains to their children, some of them believing that the spoken danger is exaggerated.
Among many of the legends of Ghoul Mountains, it's believed giants emerge at night time, reshaping its appearance by hurling gigantic rocks.
